![]() To answer your question (assuming my buzzing synapses are firing correctly), a newspaper clipping near the beginning indicated that the actual fire occured in a department store, not the house. Whether or not he abused/killed his wife/child has not been definitively revealed, but I too have an expectation that that's where the story is going. Originally posted by I'm sorry Dave.:I laughed when I opened the armoire door and bottles poured out. This game is the first where I actually want to know more and actually feel like I could dig deeper and deeper into the plot. ![]() Oh and speaking of lore and story, there has not been a single game that could grab my attention for a long time lorewise. Next sunday is going to be the bug hunt session and I know I will enjoy it!Īgain, cheers and much love from a Belgian fan. It is after all, in Early Access.īut to be in this good shape? This game's quality, to me, shines more and tells me more then just "another" Early Access game. And I am willing to take time to test it out and hunt some bugs. Thank you for taking the time and actually making this game! I think that a great game deserves everything it needs to get to it's final state. It means a lot to us! Kudos to you! You guys are the best. Originally posted by Bloober Team SA:Hey there Inca | Tatsumaki! Thanks for taking so much into the game, and the time you are willing to spend on hunting bugs and plot-related theories. īloober Team: I too would be interested in information/titles of the various songs used in the game. Kind of reminds me of the bar hallucination scene from the shining. Where a lot of folks might get their kicks from visuals, I'm definitely an audio guy, and the missed notes/wavering furniture was a nice touch. The child's bedroom sequence was very well done but the one that sincerely sent chills down my spine was the basement piano/rising furniture bit. I know we see things like burnt music sheets but I always assumed those were "artifacts" collected and saved in mourning from the protagonist. The emergency exits were so crowded they became deathtraps, as was somewhat common in the 30s-50s. ![]() I laughed when I opened the armoire door and bottles poured out. I think he may have been drinking before the grand opening (hence the little drink flask you find) and because of his paranoia for rats, combined with the excessive alcohol consumption, he might have set fire to that whole building in some way. Well I think he might have something to do with it.īut he was at home when they called him to say his wife got injured at the fire? Now hear me out guys and girls, you know the big fire that happened at the grand opening of the art museum (it was an art museum right? Or was it a gallery to display all of his work?). The collectible that said that he had to set fire to a canvas because that would kill the rats inside it. On that note, one particular collectible sparked alot of interest to me. The collectibles show alot of confrontation with rats and it seems that he does almost everything to kill as much rats as he can. Now in regards to his anger (and maybe a slight fear) for rats, there is alot going on here. I think you can clearly see what kind of thinking our character does. One part that particulary spiked alot of interest was the fact when he said that he bought a dog after his wife said that it would be nice if they got a cat. I do think that we can all agree that this guy has a serious drinking problem, I think I saw more bottles then paint throughout the entire game! This lead me to think that he did infact mentally and physically abuse his wife, after she got injured by the fire at the great opening of that art museum building. So I'm going to jump straight in to my speculations and thoughts. ![]() I enjoyed it so much from beginning to end and I've come up with some speculations about the person that you play as. ![]() So I've just played it all the way through to the part where there is no more left to play and I am having a seriously huge thirst for more.
